VISIT OF THE SECRETARY OF THE STATE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL HERITAGE, PERFORMING ARTS AND RURAL ARTS PROMOTION TO GALLE FORT

Mrs. K.A.D.R. Nishanthi Jayasingha, Secretary of the Ministry of National Heritage, Performing Arts and Rural Arts Promotion, paid a visit to the office of the Galle Heritage Foundation on the morning of 27^th July 2021.  She had a short discussion with the Chairman, Director and other senior staff of the Foundation.  The discussion focused mainly on the implementation of the current conservation and development programme of the Foundation and the problems faced in this regard. She undertook to give all possible assistance from the Ministry to overcome any outstanding issues in this regard.

Following the discussion, she engaged in a field tour of Galle Fort together with the senior staff members of the GHF.
