The Galle Heritage Foundation is Sri Lanka’s premier state institution mandated to promote preservation, conservation and development of the Galle Fort (a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site) together with its historic hinterland through a participatory approach with all stakeholders including the Fort’s resident community while providing access and facilities to the visitors to the Galle Fort and its historic hinterland.
