MOBILE VEDNDORS JOIN IN CLEAN FORT CAMPAIGN

Mobile vendors of Galle Fort, numbering about 50, carried out a shramadana in Galle Fort, organized by the Galle Heritage Foundation, on 8th February, 2022.

It was organized as part of the Clean Fort campaign  launched by the GHF.  The shramadana which was done during the morning hours, covered the whole ramparts including the 14 bastions.  The participants said that they were happy to participate in this activity because a neat and tidy Galle Fort would draw more visitors.
